Let’s travel back to 2014, the year my mind shifted, and in turn the world shifted. At that time had you asked 2014 Allie "Do you have any interest in becoming an Executive coach? Ever think you'd want to work with leaders from around the world to transform their leadership? How about creating your own company?" it is HIGHLY likely I would have responded with an emphatic "Are you nuts? This is hilarious."
All I knew was GE, and that my career had to be at GE. My dad worked at GE, my husband worked at GE, my cousins, my friends … you get the gist. I had created and been living into a narrative called: success in life = a successful career at GE … PERIOD. There was no other way. Until suddenly there was.
In early 2014 a suspicion started to brew inside of me. I became suspicious that my strategy for tolerating “status quo” and operating on “auto pilot” was yielding diminishing returns; I just had no idea what to replace my strategy with.
I then found myself in a 2-day leadership training at an airport hotel in Hartford, CT. I sat in that room and thought ‘I see the road ahead, and I am not sure there is any other way to live my life here. This isn’t going to work out for me.’ Then it happened - I hopped into the Delorean, next to Doc Emmet Brown, for where we were about to go we did not need roads.
It was in this training where I met my now business partner, I experienced a BREAKTHROUGH in my leadership (professionally and personally) and my life changed forever. The Allie who walked into that training was unrecognizable from the Allie who walked out.

From that day onward, I’ve been creating some serious s*** in my professional and personal life.
